I am joining a 5-day mindful writing challenge with Nadia Colburn. Only 15 min a day for a short meditation, listening to a beautiful poem, and have a couple of minutes to sink and write our own words. It's great experience!
Shall you join us? This challenge is only available until Oct. 2nd. Give yourself time, and you will get result!

The poem for today is:
Praying by Maria Oliver
It doesn’t have to be
the blue iris, it could be
weeds in a vacant lot, or a few
small stones; just
pay attention, then patch
a few words together and don’t try
to make them elaborate, this isn’t
a contest but the doorway
into thanks, and a silence in which
another voice may speak.
Silence
Today I determined to open the doorway to my true Self
by being silent
by breathing, and knowing that I am breathing
by silently thank God for what He has given me
and being grateful for the means He has shown me
to come home
with Him
in eternal and perfect peace.
Let my mind sink into silence
as no words can speak the Voice of God.
I will only hear His Voice
when no sound comes
and all thoughts have left.
In that perfect silence
I will hear His Voice.
